Think of a lifestyle manager as a personal assistant who helps you in each and every aspect of your life. Our lifestyle managers provide assistance in every domain from finding a one-off gift for loved ones or associates, to managing the day-to-day running of your household, and of course, ensuring that you are never out of ideas when planning your leisure time.

A lifestyle manager has an extensive portfolio of experts and professionals to call upon to fulfill your needs. With a lifestyle manager to assist you, you will inevitably gain more time to do the things you really want to do, in both your business and personal life.

What is a concierge service?

Concierge Service entails a wide range of specialised services designed to assist busy individuals with the management of their personal and professional daily tasks, or "to do" lists. At Alta Services, a vast array of luxury and every day services are offered depending on the needs of our clients. As your lifestyle manager, we continually strive to make the impossible happen.

Why do I need a concierge service?

We help enable you time for yourself, eliminate stress and give you peace of mind away from the daily hassle and stress of everyday life. Our “can do” concierge service works with great resolve towards completing your requests in a timely and efficient manner.

We have an extensive network of vendors and professionals. We utilise all of our resources to provide the best solutions for your needs. As a member/client of Alta Services, you gain time by not having to find and assess suppliers, retailers or manufacturers when trying to locate a particular product, service or solution to a problem. Employing our services allows you to get on with what is important in your life while we take care of the rest.

I have a Personal Assistant (PA) – why do I need Alta Services?

We are not here to challenge the role of your PA. Our mission is to be an extra support so that his or her talents can be better dedicated to your everyday business needs. Alta Services has an established worldwide network for the use of its members/clients and this can only facilitate your PA’s daily work.

I live abroad. Can I use Alta Services?

Yes. As a member/client of Alta Services, you can access and benefit from all our services from anywhere in the world.

How can I use Alta Services?

There are several ways in which you can have access to our services. One way in which you can access our services is through a method of ‘Services à la Carte’, where you simply pick one, two or more services from all the services offered. We offer our services in ‘à la Carte’ form. An example would be choosing exclusive holiday arrangements from Alta Leisure; chartering from Alta Yacht and celebrity booking from Alta Events. You do not have to subscribe to a membership to have access to our individual services.

Another method is through Standard packages and Sub-packages. This simply means that each category of services counts as one package. By choosing one of these packages you will have access to the all the services within that category.

Please note that we also offer Themed packages. By choosing a themed package, you will have access to some of the world’s most exceptional events. Examples of packages that we have created or that in the prospect of being established include: ‘Wine and Gourmet European Experience’; ‘Formula 1 Grand Prix/Supercar Experience’; London Olympics VIP Trip 2012. Our themed packages intend to ensure our clients have access unforgettable experiences and the best of the world of luxury.

You can also become a member of Alta Services. Our Membership model consists of the Silver Card, the Gold Card, the Black Card, the Black Diamond Card and finally the Corporate Card. In becoming a member, you will have access to a number of services provided according to the different levels of membership. Each membership card covers a set of services, which varies according to the card you choose. Please note that the Corporate Card is only available for employees of companies only.

As a frequent business traveller, how is Alta Services useful for me?

We are highly experienced in coordinating and organizing travelling arrangements according to our clients’ needs. We will manage everything from a –z: accommodation, travelling documents, drivers and much more. We carry out these services with the highest level of quality and efficiency.

What is included in my membership?

What is the minimum duration of my membership?

The duration of all membership cards is one year.

What happens after I become a member or a client?

Once you become a member/client, you can email or call us in order to discuss any questions or request you may have. If you are in need of something complex, you may be asked for a written request. Upon reception of your request, our team will immediately begin the work aimed at finding the best solutions for you. In the meantime, you will receive an email from us confirming your request specifications, for example, the dates, times and location you wish to book. This gives you the opportunity to amend the specifications if necessary, before we finalise the arrangements on your behalf.

Once we have sourced your requirements, we will email them to you for confirmation that you want us to proceed.

Please note that your credit card details are required and must be provided to Alta Services in order to proceed. Typical applications would be for flights, hotels or personal shopping. If this is the case, Alta Services will ask for your details at the time of your request.

Can Alta Services deal with any request?

Yes, provide that requests remain within legal and ethical boundaries. In fact, we pride ourselves in helping clients find solutions to difficult requests. Very occasionally, despite our global network of contacts and our best efforts, we might not be able to provide a solution. Under these circumstances, we will offer clients an alternative as closely matched as possible to the original request.

Can Alta Services organise last minute requests?

We are not only able to organise last minute requests, but we also thrive on it. Indeed, the more advanced notice we have, the easier it is to organise special events and occasions. However, fully aware that life rarely works this way, our lifestyle managers have over time become highly experienced in working with tight deadlines and are experts in time management and prioritising what is urgent and non-urgent.

How quickly can Alta Services handle my request?

Our team will immediately begin the work upon reception of your request in the attempt to complete everything as soon as possible. When you make your request, you will be provided with an outline of the time scale involved and you will be kept updated and informed on the progress regularly.

How do I request the Services?

You can either call or email us. We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week and Alta Services will attend to your request as rapidly as possible.

Is my membership transferable?

Alta Services has a unique membership scheme available to individuals and as such is not transferable. However, the benefits include a member’s wife or/husband and any children under the age of 18 if you are making a gift to them or travelling together. A second card is available at half price for any family member wanting to utilise the services of Alta Services directly.

Do I have to be a member to have access to services?

No – You do not have to be a member. Without membership, you are able to access our services in numerous ways.

How much does a membership cost or Services à la Carte cost?

Each level of membership comprises different number of hours and therefore the price for each membership varies. Regarding Services à la Carte, the fee is calculated per hour.

Who are the services in Alta Corporate intended for?

Alta Corporate is intended to service companies and their employees. However, the services can be used for company clients as well.

What does "total hours per annum" mean, with regard to my membership?

‘Total hours per annum’ refers to the hours you are entitled to use our services. For every level of membership, the total hours per annum are different. Members are entitled to a certain number of hours of assistance from Alta Services for organising and arranging various requests. However, this does not include the hours of suppliers who deliver your service, for example housekeepers or chauffeurs.

How will I know how many hours I have used up?

At Alta Services, we keep comprehensive records for all our members. Any time spent on your behalf is logged onto our computer system. Activity carried out on your behalf is recorded on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. If you are approaching the limit of hours, a member of Alta Services will contact you and explain further options.

How do I pay for your services?

After talking to one of our lifestyle managers and deciding which Membership card or Service à la Carte best suits your needs, you will receive an invoice stating the amount due and to be proceeded by bank transfer.

Please note that the fees for our Membership price or Services à la Carte will only cover hours worked in arranging, researching, organising and planning. We work as the link between our clients and the service providers. The fees due to the service providers are not covered in our prices. It is the Member’s /Client’s responsibility to ensure they settle any payment directly with the relevant service providers.

Services can be paid via credit card either on the spot or by phone.

Will my personal details remain confidential?

Yes, as a client of Alta Services your personal details will remain confidential at all times.

What happens when my membership is due to expire?

One month before your membership fee is due, Alta Services will send you an email reminder and an invoice. Please confirm that you wish to renew your membership and make the appropriate payment.

If you do not wish to renew your membership, you do not need to do anything and your membership will automatically cease after 12 months.

If for whatever reason, I have already paid Alta Services but am dissatisfied with the quality of services, what will happen?

If a client has purchased 100 hours and after a trial of a few hours find the services unsatisfying, Alta Services will reimburse you the amount of money paid for the hours left-un-used.
